12 Days Tour from Casablanca

Your 12-day Morocco journey begins in Casablanca with pickup from your accommodation or according to your arrival arrangements. Start with time at the Hassan II Mosque, Casablanca's best-known landmark overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Continue north along the Atlantic coast to Rabat, Morocco's capital. Here, discover landmarks including Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Oudaya Kasbah.

After sightseeing, check into your hotel or riad and spend the evening in Rabat.

After breakfast, leave Rabat and travel north toward the Rif Mountains. The scenery changes as you approach Chefchaouen, one of northern Morocco's most distinctive destinations.

On arrival, enjoy time to explore the old medina at your own pace. Walk through its blue-painted lanes, small squares and traditional streets surrounded by the mountain landscape.

Spend the evening in Chefchaouen and enjoy the atmosphere of the Blue City before your overnight stay.

Leave Chefchaouen after breakfast and travel south through northern Morocco toward Volubilis.

Spend time exploring the archaeological site and its ancient remains before continuing your journey toward Fes. Entrance fees are not included and are paid separately.

Arrive in Fes later in the day and check into your hotel or riad. The evening is free before the full guided city experience the following day.

Meet your local guide after breakfast for a full day exploring Fes. Begin with areas outside the old medina, including the Mellah and the exterior gates of the Royal Palace.

Continue to a panoramic viewpoint over the historic city and discover traditional Moroccan ceramic and zellige craftsmanship.

Enter the old medina with your guide and explore its narrow lanes, souks and artisan quarters. See traditional workshops and experience the atmosphere of historic Fes.

During the tour, view the famous tanneries from the surrounding terraces while learning more about local history and craftsmanship. Entrance fees are not included.

Leave Fes after breakfast and travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane before continuing toward the Cedar Forest for a short break among the cedar trees.

Continue south through changing mountain landscapes toward the Ziz Valley, where palm groves stretch along the valley floor.

Travel onward toward Erfoud and Merzouga. As you approach the Sahara, the Erg Chebbi dunes rise above the desert landscape.

Arrive in Merzouga and settle into your hotel or riad near the dunes. The following day is dedicated to exploring the desert region.

After breakfast, begin a 4×4 exploration around the Merzouga region and the landscapes surrounding the Erg Chebbi dunes.

Visit Khamlia village before continuing toward the Merzouga oasis. When seasonal conditions allow, you may also see the desert lake.

Continue across the desert terrain to meet nomad families and learn about life in this remote region. The route also takes you toward an old mining area.

Return toward Khamlia for a lunch stop, where traditional Berber pizza is a local specialty. Lunch is not included and is paid separately.

Later, begin your camel ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes toward the Sahara camp. Dinner is included at the camp before your overnight stay in the desert.

After breakfast, leave the Sahara and travel west through southeastern Morocco toward Tinghir and Todra Gorge.

Stop at Todra Gorge and enjoy time to walk between the dramatic canyon walls before continuing through the valley landscapes.

Continue toward Dades Valley, passing traditional villages and striking rock formations before arriving at your accommodation.

Dinner is included at your hotel or riad in the Dades Valley.

After breakfast, leave the Dades Valley and continue through the landscapes of southern Morocco toward the Rose Valley.

Travel through an area known for traditional villages, palm groves and valleys framed by dry mountain scenery. The shorter route today gives the 12-day journey a more relaxed pace through southern Morocco.

Continue toward Ouarzazate, an important gateway between the desert regions and the High Atlas Mountains. Arrive with time to settle into your accommodation and enjoy the surroundings.

Dinner is included at your accommodation in Ouarzazate.

Leave Ouarzazate after breakfast and travel toward Ait Ben Haddou, one of southern Morocco's best-known fortified settlements.

Spend time exploring the historic ksar and its traditional earthen architecture. Entrance fees, where applicable, are not included.

Continue across the High Atlas Mountains, following the winding mountain road through valleys and traditional villages.

Descend from the mountains toward Marrakech and check into your hotel or riad. The evening is free before the full-day guided city tour.

After breakfast, meet your local Marrakech guide for a full day dedicated to exploring the historic city.

Visit Bahia Palace and discover its courtyards and traditional Moroccan decorative details before continuing to Ben Youssef Madrasa.

Walk through the old Medina and its traditional souks, where narrow streets are lined with local shops and artisan workshops.

Continue to Jemaa el-Fnaa at the heart of the old city and explore the Koutoubia area with your guide.

Entrance fees to monuments and attractions are not included. After the guided tour, return to your accommodation for another night in Marrakech.

After breakfast, leave Marrakech for a day on Morocco's Atlantic coast. Travel west through the countryside toward Essaouira.

On arrival, enjoy free time to explore Essaouira at your own pace. Walk through the medina, browse local streets and shops, and experience the relaxed atmosphere of this coastal city.

You can also spend time around the fishing port and waterfront before choosing a place for lunch at your own expense.

In the afternoon, meet your driver and return to Marrakech for your final overnight stay.

After breakfast, your departure transfer is arranged according to your flight plans.

For a flight from Marrakech Airport, you will be transferred from your accommodation to the airport at the appropriate time.

If your flight departs from Casablanca Airport, travel from Marrakech to Casablanca. Because this requires a longer road transfer, the departure time will be coordinated carefully with your flight schedule.

Drop-off at your selected airport marks the end of your 12-day journey through Morocco.
